About T.T.Taylor

Minister Tamara Taylor, an associate minister at Mount Olive Church Ministries, under the Rev. Dion J. Watkins, is a lifelong resident of Hartford, CT. A devoted wife, mother of two, grew up in the historical neighborhood of Charter Oak Terrace. A product of the Hartford Public School System and graduating from Bulkeley High School in 1993, she went straight into the workforce, when she decided to serve her country for a short time in the United States Army where she was stationed in FT. Jackson, South Carolina.

In 2004, she was called, by God, to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. In 2005, she preached her initial sermon and became a licensed minister under Pastor Autherine Lattimore, of From the Heart Ministries in Hartford CT. Shortly after which, she would go through a spiritual attack unlike no other! She left the church and began to live a lifestyle that would and could have killed her.

BUT GOD!!

IN 2014, the Holy Spirit summoned her to come back to the Lord. She followed the instructions of the Lord, remembering the very verse the Lord gave her the very night she was called. Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”

Her love of writing came by way of her love for singing and music. She has been singing since childhood, but since she was so shy, she channeled her passion for rhythmic expression into writing.

She decided to share a few of her writings with close friends and received many positive responses. She has written over 200 poems and spoken word pieces.

Min. Taylor is currently the author of two self published books, From the Heart: Poetry from Within and True Thoughts of a Poet’s Heart. This book is the first of many spiritual, prophetic, encouraging and God inspired books to come!
